Day 30 of atkins and gym day two allmax protein

  I started working out about 30 days ago, first with zumba and atkins, but then I realized I wanted more . Maybe its a midlife crisis sort of thing but I knew I wanted to be fit and healthy while looking younger and full of life. So of course I went shopping for new workout clothes bright fun colours full of life and energy with matching shoes .In turn this made me wanna get out there and be seen . So I joined the gym working out six days a week not really knowing what to do what machine to use , free weights or stability ball . I know everyone has been there . The gym can be a scary place almost like high school you wanna fit in but the truth is everyone is thinking the same thing and if you just do what you need to do everyone will assume it is a different workout they haven't tried or seen. I have been adjusting my diet and workouts over the last two weeks and found that all of the different work outs can be great depending on your goal and what fits your life style. I'm starting myself a challenge of having 20 or less carbs a day by using the atkins and allmax shakes and quest bars combined with veggies all day and lean protein and veg dinner . I star my day off with allmax whey protein isolate isoflex shake they have lots of flavours and out of all the different brands this one tastes fabulous. I use strawberry vanilla and banana creme as my go to flavours banana creme being my favourite . It has zero fat , 27 g of protein and 1 carb not too shabby then I go to the gym for one hour of cardio and each day I work a different muscle group like back and biceps etc but always one hour of cardio interval training . I'm burning an average of .5 lbs a day and toning and firming up so realistically I burning more weight except I'm turning it in to muscle which weighs more . Pounds aren't everything inches are important too cause when toning you should be tightening up after my work out I have another allmax shake in 12 oz of unsweetened almond milk or water to heal my muscles . I then have tons of veg aprox 6.9 carbs worth through out the rest of the day and if I'm still a little hungry which I usually am I have one quest bar vanilla almond or cookies and creme very high in carbs but almost all in fibre so on the atkins its only 3g of net carbs per bar . I have a hot shower to sooth my muscles and take my vitamins and psyllium husks . I take 1 centrum performance , 1 vitamin b 100 complex and vitamin c my shakes have the rest and I drink about 3 litres of water a day. I consume because I work out 130 g of protein 15- 20 g of carbs and as low fat. Dinner varies but usually is chicken or fish cause they tend to be leaner . This has been successful for me thus far . I'll keep you updated on my progress.
